CMV Canada’s Annual General Meeting is an open forum for reviewing our accomplishments, discussing future initiatives, and engaging with our community. This meeting provides a valuable opportunity for everyone to provide feedback and help shape the direction of CMV Canada. Your participation is encouraged as we continue our mission to raise awareness and support for Canadians affected by congenital CMV.

Join CMV Canada and Michelle Tétrault, CMV parent and co-founder of CMV Canada, for our monthly Family Support Meetings. These gatherings are open to all parents and caregivers, providing a safe and welcoming space for families from all walks of life to connect, share experiences, and find support. Occasionally, special guests join us to offer additional insights and resources. While advance registration is encouraged, everyone is welcome to participate.

CMV Mission Possible is an annual event designed exclusively for kids, welcoming all children to participate. This initiative inspires and empowers young minds to chase their dreams, whether it’s solving puzzles, mastering dance moves, or unleashing their creativity.
Each child sets a personal goal they want to achieve during the event. Once they reach their goal, they are rewarded with exciting CMV Mission Possible stickers, a certificate of achievement, and a special prize of their choice, delivered right to their doorstep. This approach ensures that kids feel motivated and celebrated for their accomplishments.

Le Classique was a major winter event in St. Boniface from 2013 to 2020, growing into Western Canada’s largest outdoor 3-on-3 ball hockey tournament. What started as a fundraiser for congenital CMV screening led to the founding of the Canadian CMV Foundation when the organizers realized the need for a dedicated organization in Canada.
Despite a few cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Le Classique was a beloved tradition that brought the community together and made a significant impact in the fight against congenital CMV.
