Run With Rob
July 19, 2026 - August 3, 2026

Run With Rob is an annual event inspired by Terry Fox’s legacy. Rob Tétrault, our president and co-founder, runs across provinces to raise awareness and funds for CMV Canada. This initiative emphasizes the need for universal screening for congenital CMV and calls for action across Canada.

In 2023, the event was held in Manitoba, followed by New Brunswick in 2024 and Prince Edward Island in 2025. Each year, Rob’s run highlights the importance of newborn CMV screening and invites community participation, with participants able to join Rob for one or more half-marathon legs.

Born out of the incredible success of the 2023 Run With Rob, where Rob Tétrault ran 506 km across Manitoba in 12 days to raise awareness for congenital CMV, this event has grown into an annual tradition fueled by community support. In 2026, we introduced a 5K and 10K to expand its reach and impact.

Le Classique
2013 - 2020

Le Classique was a major winter event in Winnipeg from 2013 to 2020, growing into Western Canada’s largest outdoor 3-on-3 ball hockey tournament. What started as a fundraiser for congenital CMV screening led to the founding of the Canadian CMV Foundation when the organizers realized the need for a dedicated organization in Canada.

Despite a few cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Le Classique was a beloved tradition that brought the community together and made a significant impact in the fight against congenital CMV.
