Rob is an award winning business executive with an extensive background in the Financial Services Industry. Rob is also one of the leading minds in the St. Boniface Francophone Community and acts as that Chamber of Commerce’s President. In his daily work life, Rob is a Portfolio Manager and Head of the Rob Tetrault Wealth Management Group at National Bank Financial. He was recently named to Wealth Professional’s national “Hot List” for advisors at the top of their game. Rob is also on the finance committee for Action Marguerite, past President of Francophone Lawyer’s Association and Francophone Sport Manitoba. Rob has practiced in the past as a lawyer at a prestigious firm in Winnipeg and has a Finance MBA as a member of the Dean’s List at the Asper School of Business. Rob is also a published author whose quantitative analysis paper on using Topsis and AHP methods to rank hockey players was published at the ASIC conference in 2011.
Rob’s passion and dedication towards the simple goal of eradicating Congenital CMV has consumed a healthy portion of his years as a father. It’s through his vision, dedication and hard work that the Foundation exists today. Rob loves and lives life to the fullest, and can often be seen cheering up folks and reminding them not to sweat the small stuff. His optimism with respect to the eventual eradication of CMV is positively contagious.
Derrek is a devoted husband and father of two young children who has a long history of success in the financial services industry, first as a commercial lender and more recently as an investment advisor. Derrek has been an active member of the community and was recently a Treasurer for Festival du Voyageur. Derrek has been involved with the Canadian CMV Foundation since the very first days, having been one of the initial signors of the Trust document which legally created the Foundation. He’s also heavily involved in one of the main fundraising events of the Charity, “Le Classique”. Derrek is also an established magician and has performed his magic at various important events throughout the province.
Marc is an enterprising young executive that has risen through the ranks of business in Winnipeg. Having served as COO of Western Canada’s Largest Winter Festival for Years, Marc now runs Manitoba’s largest Cross-Fit workout center, Cross-Fit Winnipeg. Marc has been involved in CMV fund-raising efforts since the very beginning and is credited with having co-founded Western Canada’s largest outdoor 3-on-3 ball hockey fundraising tournament: Le Classique. It’s Marc’s remarkable vision with respect to organizing and structuring an event which could attract thousands of spectators over the course of a weekend that largely helped pave the way for the immensely popular community fundraiser. In his spare time Marc enjoys playing the fiddle and snowshoeing.

Marc is a well-respected Partner at Taylor McCaffrey LLP, one of Winnipeg’s leading law firms, with a practice focus on Tax, Corporate, Commercial and Non-profit matters. Marc has been a guest lecturer at both the University of Manitoba and the University of Saint-Boniface on a variety of topics including business law and philanthropy. Marc has been a community leader for years now, currently serving as the President of the French newspaper La Liberté and a board member of the Financial Advisory Committee for theArchdiocese of Saint-Boniface, and formerly serving as the President of the French Lawyers’ Association of Manitoba and a member of the Board of Governors for the University of Saint-Boniface. Marc’s dedication to the community and to the CMV cause runs deep, as Marc conducted all legal work for the Canadian CMV Foundation on a pro bono basis, effectively donating all of his time and legal work to the foundation.
